The re-organisation of an existing listed Georgian house in Canonbury, London, with a fully glazed conservatory addition at garden level and extended kitchen as part of a large family living space.
Curved glass is used to separate the extended kitchen and living spaces but with enough transparency to allow communication between the two. The conservatory roof is set within an expressed steel frame which projects out from the house and reaches into the garden. The first floor of the house was returned to a similar layout as its original plan and includes the addition of a new bathroom within a glass enclosure.
