Staggered blocks that emerge from the landscape like stacked stones, clustered around two cores echoing the Fort.
The Competition was for an unspecified number of residential units on a site beside the historic Fort Albert on the Isle of Wight. This proposal placed the new building apart from the fort, at the waters edge on the opposite side of the triangular peninsula.
The open structure allows each apartment its own outside deck and allows the sun to reach the north facing spaces. North facing spaces allow large areas of glazing with views over the Solent.
